By Taidi
Hush little child,
The glass that protected your essence from the world,
It is shattered.
You don’t even realize it yet,
But the girl in the mirror,
Is one you just met,
At dawn she was only 10,
Dusk has come,
She is old and frail.
Hush little child,
For the world has her ways,
She has robbed you,
She will also teach you.
