By Taidi
Does the bird ever watch me and wish we could trade places?
She, with her ability to defy gravity,
Me, with my inability to disobey it;
She, with her ability to simply collect her next meal,
Me, with my ability to grow my next meal;
She, with the ability to migrate with season,
Me, with the ability to adapt with season;
She, with the ability to play in the sky,
Me, with the ability to create in the sky;
We’re both exotic creatures,
But, does she ever wish she could trade places with me?
